Future of the PNoNC Chapter is in your hands!

Posted over 4 years ago by Whitney Molasky

Good Morning Everyone!
First of all, I would like to thank everyone who was involved, planned, or attended our annual conference on Saturday, October 26! We had a fantastic turnout and conference with CEs provided.
I mentioned at the conference that we would be restructuring this chapter and need assistance from all interested parties to keep this chapter thriving.
We are looking for individuals who may be interested in running for chapter board positions. The open positions are: President, President-Elect, Secretary, & Treasurer
The changes we will be making to the chapter are likely to include:
  1. An annual membership fee
  2. Quarterly business meetings with one free CE provided (February, May, August, November)
  3. We will continue the annual half day conference with CEs
We need to be notified of your interest to run for office before the end of the year or even just notification of your interest to become a member. DEADLINE 12/31/2019
The future of this society and the ability to continue to offer these informative and economical pain CEs and the ability to network with other pain nurses across the state will depend on the feedback we receive from this communication.

We will aim for our first restructured quarterly meeting in February 2020, when we will also hold elections of the new officers.

We, additionally, are open to suggestions! We want this chapter to be a success. We have to increase membership and participation in order for that to happen. We are happy to host meetings in various locations, times, dates, etc. We are open to hosting WebEx's for the meetings as well.

Thank you so much!
Current PNoNC Board (Daphne, Sherry, Armando, & Whitney)
